Blankets and bows

We have flannel blankets. Yes, I know its still hot outside.  Fall is right around the corner, though, and the weather will be turning colder before you know it. 

We have big cats perfect for using while watching tv.

 A baby boy and I love mom just waiting for your little one to use. 

Don't forget out crocheted blankets for your little one.

 I just love fall. Fall means pretty colors and time to start baking. Muffins seem to be my main fall baking item. Peach muffins, cheddar bacon muffins and pumpkin chip muffins are my three favorites. What are your favorites? Hoping to bring you some Christmas items next time.

Hello Summer

Hello summer. 

We have quite a few things coming up in the next few months. 

Back to school is upon us already in some states and we have the perfect earrings for someone who likes dangle earrings, but nothing too long.  We have a resin pencil and a resin ruler. Both pair are in surgical steel books to make them hypo allergenic.

 We will be putting a few patriotic bows on as when isn't a good time to show your love for this country.

 Do you have a baby shower to go to? We have the most delicate pink and white blanket along with a blue variegated blanket complete with a parrot head friend crocheted on it. 

Looking for a unique one of a kind purse? We have two in the shop at this time. Check them out.

Valentiny- Sally's Valentine

Sally loves Valentine’s day.  Her favorite colors are red and pink and her favorite pastime is making cards for her friends.  This year she sits down at her craft table with pink, red and white construction paper, markers and some glue. She cuts out heart shapes and glues them together to make a cute bird face and inside writes “You’re TWEET.”

She makes cards for her friends Suzy and Rachel, she makes cards for the kids that sit near her in class, John and Matt.  When she got to Scott’s card she felt the urge to add extra hearts inside. Scott is the new kid in class and he is kind and sweet.  Sally hopes he’ll notice that his card is extra special. Sally hopes Scott thinks she’s extra special too.  Maybe he’ll ask her to be his Valentine this year.

The next day Sally brings her bag of Valentines to class. She made one for each kid in class and the extra special one for Scott.  She passes out the cards to all her friends, they all tell her how cute they are and give her a card in return…

Then she gets to Scott. Her heart starts to pitter patter. He takes the card. “Oh, um thanks. Is Valentine’s today? I forgot.”

January Already?

The New Year is in full swing. Things at the Blue Rabbit Cottage have been pretty busy, so I'd like to apologize for being quiet for so long. As we're getting back in a routine we'll be sharing things again as we can.

Blue Rabbit Cottage is on YouTube.  We decided to start a channel to share some crafts and maybe some things in the kitchen with you.  In this first video we worked with the Icy Breeze Show to make sugar skulls to decorate for Halloween.  This craft is family friendly and as messy as you want it to be.  With glitter glue and tacky glue and spray paint prep work, we would recommend news paper for easy clean up.
